Yorke Peninsula Towns

Explore our towns

Between Port Broughton in the north and Marion Bay in the south, there are many interesting towns on the Yorke Peninsula.

The Mac’s Beachfront Villas, Wallaroo, South Australia

Mild summer weather, great swimming beaches and places to stay make the Yorke Peninsula an excellent holiday destination. Towns include Black Point, Coobowie, Curramulka, Edithburgh, Stansbury, Port Vincent and Wallaroo.

Regional centres

During the off-season, these towns offer a great chance to get away from it all. The bigger towns like Ardrossan, Kadina, Maitland, Minlaton, Warooka and Yorketown have well stocked supermarkets and tasty eateries.

Every two years, Paskeville, just outside of Kadina, is home to the Yorke Peninsula Field Days. For three days, the town puts on displays of agricultural equipment, technology, information and local services. People come from across Australia to visit.

Coastal towns

The Yorke Peninsula has 700 kilometres (435 miles) of coastline, so it makes sense that some of the most loved towns boast fabulous beaches for swimming, fishing or simply admiring.

Plot a course for Corny Point, Hardwicke Bay, Point Turton, Port Clinton, Port Hughes, Port Julia, Port Rickaby, Port Victoria or Wool Bay. These towns are sure to please.

Port Wakefield is located in the perfect place for last minute supplies and a break. After stopping at Port Wakefield, head down the Yorke Peninsula for the perfect holiday getaway.
