Hike from Waterfall Gully to Mount Lofty
The start is only minutes from the city. Enjoy views of Adelaide, the coast and Piccadilly Valley. The summit is the highest point in the southern Mount Lofty Ranges.
Yurrebilla Trail
Looking for something longer? Try the Yurrebilla Trail. The trail links several national parks and the views are spectacular. The start is near Adelaide and you’ll find accommodation, cafés and hotels along the way. There are also plenty of wineries, galleries and towns.
Tackle the Heysen Trail

Meet the locals at a wildlife park
Cleland Wildlife Park has a great, self-guided discovery trail. Warrawong Wildlife Sanctuary has several trails. See wallabies and kangaroos at dawn. See platypus and fish on a wetlands walk. See bettongs and bandicoots at sunset.
